Low Profile Linear Stages
The V-508 low profile linear stages from PI provide very high precision and resolution in an ultra-low-profile package. The linear stages are equipped with linear encoders featuring sub-nanometer sensitivity usually only known from piezo nanopositioners. The compact translation stage family is driven by a choice of iron-core and ironless direct-drive linear motors, position feedback is through a choice of lower cost or higher precision linear encoders covering both cost-sensitive and ultra-high-precision applications such as optical delay lines, photonics alignment and semiconductor applications. V-508 low-profile linear stages combine affordability and very high performance. The frictionless, electromagnetic, 3-phase linear motors provide performance and reliability advantages in 24/7 industrial high-velocity scanning and nano-positioning applications.
The linear stage family is available with linear motion ranges of 80mm, 170mm, and 250mm. Linear translation stages with longer travel ranges for industrial and research applications are also available.
