Linear stage - M-417
New Linear positioning stage offers high precision, 500 mm travel and 0.5 µm resolution
PI offers a new linear stage in the half-meter class. The M-417 translation stage was designed for high duty cycles and velocity. Precision recirculating ball bearings provide guiding precision in the 100 µrad range over the complete travel range.
A low friction ball screw allows for maintenance free operation with velocities to 100 mm/second. The integrated efficient servo amplifier further reduces cost and simplifies installation and operation. For example, the M-417 can be driven by the popular and cost efficient C-863 Mercury compact motion controller.
This low-profile linear positioning stage is well suited for automation and precision assembly applications.
