Precision Motion and Nanopositioning Solutions for Astronomy Applications

Over the last 4 decades, many scientists and engineers from the astronomy community around the world have worked with PI, using standard and custom precision motion control solutions to improve the performance of different types of astronomical telescopes. PI can provide fast steering mirror platforms for image stabilization, nanopositioning stages, piezo actuators for adaptive optics, hexapod parallel kinematic alignment systems, and high performance actuators for the alignment of mirror segments. In addition, our expertise in the fast and accurate alignment of optics, waveguides, fibers and opto-mechanical components has helped many customers to achieve their goals faster.
